Cabañas
Our six cabañas at Buena Vista Surf Club are crafted from hand-cut local Nicaraguan wood and thoughtfully situated to minimize environmental impact. The calming interiors accentuate the stunning nature and exotic surroundings visible from each cabaña.
While each one is unique, they all share core principles, offering a simple yet beautiful rustic charm. Each cabaña features comfortable box-spring beds that can be arranged as one queen or two singles. They are equipped with fans, mosquito nets, and private bathrooms. We also provide beach towels for your trips to Playa Maderas, along with drinking water and body wash.
The cabañas can be made up as singles, doubles or three-mans - if you are after a three-man please book cabaña two, four or six.
The Eco-Lodge
You’ll find Buena Vista Surf Club tucked away off the beaten path in the Pacific coastal hills of Nicaragua. Our cozy, palm-roofed Nica rancho opens onto an infinity deck that hovers amongst the treetops looking out over Playa Maderas. At our eco-lodge, you’ll be surrounded by beautiful tropical plants and exotic wildlife. There are plenty of spots to unwind, whether you’re lounging on our comfy couches, playing board games at the tables, or pulling a beanbag out onto the deck for sunbathing or stargazing.
At Buena Vista Surf Club, we encourage a digital detox, inviting you to fully immerse yourself in the breathtaking Nicaraguan nature. However, for those who wish to check in with home, we provide WiFi access in the main lodge. Daily Yoga classes are held on our open-air infinity deck, meanwhile on the lower deck we have a free weights area and ice bath, as well as some hammocks, perfect for a shaded siesta or for practicing yoga on a rainy afternoon.
Food
We take pride in what we serve and plan all meals ahead of time. We create all kinds of delicious dishes and cater to (almost) all dietary restrictions. Let us know when you make your reservation and we will take it into account while planning the menu.
We start the day with freshly brewed Nicaraguan coffee served every morning. For breakfast, we serve a delicious tropical spread with fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, pancakes, eggs, and more. For dinner there are home-cooked meals prepared with locally grown produce. Our family style meals enable you to get to know other guests, share travel stories and make new friends.
Our self-service bar is stocked with chilled refreshments. You can also enjoy free refills for your water bottle with our organically filtered well water.
Breakfast is always included in your stay. If you would like to have dinner at the hotel, please notify us 24 hours in advance. Dinner is 15USD per person.
