We, at Buena Vista Surf Club, are a small, secluded six-cabaña jungle eco-lodge. As our name suggests, the breathtaking views from our terrace showcase the wonders of Playa Maderas, just a short walk below.
We are the yoga hub of Maderas and offer surf packages, guests come to: surf, stretch, unwind, and embrace the simple yet exhilarating jungle life, surrounded by towering trees, vibrant nature, and the vast Pacific Ocean.
As an eco-lodge, we strive to minimize our impact on the planet. For this reason, we don’t have A/C on the premises. Instead, we use a combination of roof and standing fans to keep the cabañas cool.

A Perfect day at BvSC
Start your day with the sound of howler monkeys as your natural wake-up call, inviting you to enjoy a cup of freshly brewed Nicaraguan coffee.
Join a morning yoga class on our spacious infinity deck, which overlooks the stunning Playa Maderas. If your feeling up for it be guided through a cold plunge.
Afterward, share a delicious and nutritious family-style breakfast with like-minded travelers. Then, grab one of our surfboards and head out for an epic surf session, just a few minutes’ walk from your cabaña.
As the day winds down, treat yourself to an in-house massage while the sun sets. In the evening, let our talented Nicaraguan chefs spoil you with a fresh, locally sourced dinner, and end your perfect day by stargazing from the infinity deck, surrounded by treetops.

Jungle Cabaña’s
Stay in one of our six cabañas, crafted from hand-cut local wood, and immerse yourself in the breathtaking Nicaraguan nature. During your stay, enjoy our infinity deck that hovers among the treetops with stunning views over Playa Maderas, as well as access to our communal chill area, ice bath, and downstairs free weights gym.
Surf Club
Surf's Up! Whether you're looking for an intensive surf package or just a board rental, we've got you covered. We offer a selection of boards for rent, along with 1, 3, and 5-day packages with our in-house surf pro and local legend, John. With our home break, Playa Maderas, just a short walk from the hotel, you'll leave BVSC with a deeper understanding of and connection to the ocean.
Yoga Hub
Movement, breathwork, cold plunge—you name it, we’ve got it! Come practice with us at the Yoga Hub of Maderas. Our daily Vinyasa classes are not only one of the best ways to start the day but also the perfect way to balance out a tired, 'surfed-out' body. Why not stay after class and enjoy a delicious and nutritious Nica-style breakfast. We look forward to seeing you on the mat!
